Q: How can we work together if I'm in a distant location?
A: In order to make your voiceover experience go as smoothly as possible, I have several delivery options available to you. After recording your script, I can deliver the finished product to you by one of the following means:
- Email an MP3 file to you
- FTP the file directly to your server or mine
- Or I can burn a CD and overnight it to you (FedEx or UPS)
- We can also have you call into the studio line and listen as your project is voiced.
Of course with either of the first two options, you get same day service. Audio will be high quality MP3 files. For those with high speed access, audio can be delivered as uncompressed .wav or .aiff files. If you need a different format, just let me know. I can deliver your audio in almost any format.
Q: What steps do I need to go through to make a production?
A: In order to make your voiceover experience go as smoothly as possible, I have several delivery options available to you. After recording your script, I can deliver the finished product to you by one of the following means:
- Have a clear idea of what you are trying to sell or tell
- Find a good Producer in your area. Producers can be independent or connected to particular ad agencies. Check the yellow pages of your local phone book
- Your producer will coordinate all of your production steps: concept development, writing, artwork, production, studio coordination, talent, and dissemination
Q: How long is a v/o session, and what should I expect?
A: Depending on the length of the piece I will get your job done as quickly as possible. While most projects are delivered in 24 hours, some 30 second raw spots can be delivered in as little as 3-4 hours.
Q: Why use my voice services rather than an "in-house" voice talent on your staff?
Several reasons
- First, it provides a new, fresh voice that you don't use everyday for other projects
- There are no employee benefits or taxes to pay
- You can designate my voice for specific projects and announcements
- No studio time lost, or outside studio time to pay
- No vacation time to fill and no "sick-pay" or overtime to pay
How I work with you
Q: How do you invoice?
A: Once you decide to use my services, I will send you an invoice via email and include a link to pay using PayPal's echeck, your PayPal account, or by major credit card
Q: What if we need to have you revoice our script?
A: I will revoice your script at no charge if you need a different emphasis or interpretation or I screwed up. If it's a major copy change required by you or your client, I charge an additional fee up to 50% of the original talent fee which ever is greater depending on how much had to be redone. I'll be fair.
Q: How soon do we have to pay you?
A: If it's a one time project, then payment is due upon receipt of my invoice. If we work out a retainer for monthly voice work, then I will send you a monthly invoice at the end of the calendar month which is due upon receipt.
Q: What kind of payment do you accept?
A: I accept major credit cards, payment by check or bank-to-bank, which is free through PayPal. I can send you an email-invoice with payment link for you to securely enter your payment info online. I never see your bank or credit card information.
